Sharing the purpose of maintaining this price-stabilizing point of sale, Mr. Dao Van Ho, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center said: Amidst the time when many residential markets had to temporarily close, the location of supermarkets and the commercial center is not convenient to ensure the widespread supply of necessities for people in the area with many difficulties, maintaining an essential selling point in the midst of the Covid-19 epidemic is very necessary.

To meet this demand, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center cooperated with Vietnam Agricultural Trade Promotion Joint Stock Company to organize a selling point for safe agricultural products and food with stabilized prices. Here, consumers have the opportunity to buy hundreds of essential agricultural products for daily needs such as: glutinous rice – all kinds of rice, pork, chicken, duck, beef, chicken & duck eggs and, fresh vegetables (kali, cabbage, cabbage, zucchini, tomatoes, cowpeas, etc.), assorted fruits (clay oranges, watermelons, cantaloupe, dragon fruit, bananas), fresh seafood and processing, spices, onions, garlic, fish sauce of all kinds…
In particular, many safe agricultural products, protected by geographical indications, and certified by OCOP are also sold here such as: Custard Apple Dong Banh Lang Son, Hung Yen longan, Bac Kan fragrant squash, vegetables and fruits from Moc Chau, Son La, black carp, Da river trout, Ba Vi hill chicken, Van Dinh grass duck, biological pork, as well as pork & beef imported from Russia and Australia.

According to the survey, the prices of some specific vegetables, fruits, meat and fish are as follows: white water spinach (An Phat General Agricultural Service Cooperative) for 12,000 VND/kg, Bac Kan zucchini and squash from 15,000 to 17,000 VND/kg, broccoli 18,000 – 22,000 VND/kg, red amaranth, spinach, melon, cabbage 20,000 VND/kg, cucumber 18,000 VND/kg, tomato 28,000 VND/kg.
