To avoid congested goods and supply chain disruptions, the Government requested the Ministry of Transport and Communications to guide localities to unify green transport channels with the principle of simplifying procedures; does not stipulate additional conditions and permits, especially for goods essential for people’s lives and production materials and materials.<\/p>\n
In order to avoid congestion when passing customs, the General Department of Customs will allow businesses and cooperatives to submit scanned copies certified by digital signatures with documents that must be submitted in paper form\/notarized true copies\/ authentication. These documents will be additionally submitted after the goods are cleared for post-inspection.<\/p>\n
Instead of using too many applications as at present, the Government assigned the Ministry of Information and Communications in September to build a digital technology platform that integrates activities including vaccination, testing, medical declaration, granting green channels, green certificates… This is to ensure centralized, official, and convenient information for businesses and households.<\/p>\n
The Government also requested the relevant authorities to focus on supporting to reduce costs, remove financial difficulties and cash flow for businesses and business households. The solutions accordingly focus on exemption, reduction and extension of social insurance premiums and union expenses (in the year 2021-2022); support businesses and employees from social insurance balances in the short term; reconsidering sea freight rates, reducing electricity prices, extending, reducing taxes, fees, land rents, exempting fines for late payment of social insurance arising in 2020 and 2021; structuring the repayment period for bank loans, reducing interest and fees for customers affected by the epidemic in the direction of expanding the audience, scope, and time of application…<\/p>\n
The extension of the deadline for paying excise tax on domestically manufactured and assembled cars to the end of 2021 and the reduction of registration fees for domestically manufactured and assembled cars, etc. will be considered by the Government.<\/p>\n
In addition, to create favorable conditions for workers and experts to work in Vietnam, localities are required by the Government to be flexible and easing several regulations and conditions on granting and renewing permits, suitable for the new context but must be completely safe in terms of epidemic prevention.<\/p>\n
